Unique graphics to support an important message

The FirstArriving production team approached me with an interesting challenge: they were making a video about fire safety codes, a pilot for a series the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation was producing, but it had to be interesting, and fun. “Interesting” and “fun” might not come to mind when you think about NFPA codes, and videos about life safety fire codes usually take the graphic “scared straight” approach. For this piece, I developed a unique visual language that was playful, but still invocative. Some motion tracking pin-downs and matte shots rounded out the package.
